Ons vlug was heel goed.

Hamilton and Auckland, New Zealand

Had a great week here in Auckland. Michael and Anelise are really spoiling us with the use of their car and bike. We’ve been south to Hamilton, to visit family Christa and Wayne. They seem to enjoy the life out here, but who would not, as it is so beautiful and neat. They took us on a ride out and showed us the area around Hamilton.

This weekend we went out on a ride with the CMA group. Did 350kms or so through some of the nicest bike riding roads I’ve been on, just lovely.  Now we’re heading north of Auckland for the next three or four days to see some more of this lovely country. We’ve also seen Kiwi at a special institution. They’re cute and fluffy. Can’t come to New Zealand without seeing the Kiwi, it’s like visiting South Africa without seeing a Springbok, just not acceptable. This is also a good time to visit New Zealand as a South African, we can walk proudly around town thanks to the two glorious victories of the Springboks against the All Blacks in the Tri-Nations Series! Next week we’re on to Australia, so we hope the Bokke can keep up the pace when they play the Wallabies on their home soil.

Friday’s meeting and photo slide show went extremely well. We saw four ex-CMA Cape Town members, Andy & Ashly and Boetie & Shantell. They also seem to enjoy it out here and the Lord is blessing them in more ways than one, especially Shantell who is pregnant at the moment after being told by doctors it will not be possible! What do doctors know anyway? Our God is good. I’ll type some more when we’re back from the north.
